Characteristics
15 times* more corrosion-resistant than other
similar steels!
Because aluminum, magnesium and silicon are further
added to the conventional zinc coating. The compound
effect of these additives dramatically enhances
corrosion resistance. By the compound action of
silicon and magnesium, in particular, the effect
of restraining corrosion is further strengthened.
Excellently formable!
Because its coating adherence can withstand very
severe working. Its coating layer has high hardness
with excellent scratch resistance.
Cost-saving!
Because it provides the same corrosion resistance
with less coating weight than that of other similar
steels, such as Hot-dip galvanized sheets. Also,
its superb red-rust resistance makes SuperDyma an
excellent substitute for stainless steel and aluminum. Manufacturable
Range
The range of manufacturable sizes is as shown
below.

| Note: |
This range of manufacturable sizes is an example of general-purpose
specifications. For other specifications and those sizes outside of
this range, please contact us for separate consultation. |
Specification
1 Kinds and symbols
Available sizes are from 0.27mm to 9.0mm in thickness.
For kinds of cut sheets and coils, those using
hot-rolled substrates (“HR Substrate”) are shown
in Table 1-1 and those using cold-rolled substrates
(“CR Substrate”) in Table 1-2.
Table 1-1 Kinds and symbols (when HR Substrate
is used)

Remarks: Indicated thicknesses other than those
given in Table 1-1 may be agreed upon between
the parties involved with deliveries.
Table 1-2 Kinds and symbols (when CR Substrate
is used)

Remarks: 1. NSCD3 sheets and coils, when
non-aging property is to be guaranteed according
to the specifications of the orderer, letter “N”
shall be affixed to the end of the symbol of the
kind: namely, NSCD3N.
2. Indicated thicknesses other than those given
in Table 1-2 may be agreed upon between the parties
involved with deliveries.
2 Skin passing
Skin-passing for achieving smooth surfaces may
be specified in the order.
3 Coating weight
Indicated symbols of coatings and coating weights
are as shown in Table 2.
Table 2 Minimum coating weights of both-side
differential thickness coated sheets and indicated
symbols of coating weights
(g/m2)

4 Phosphating
Kinds and symbols of phosphating of sheets and
coils are as shown in Table 3.
Table 3 Kinds and symbols of phosphating
Remarks: Kinds of phosphating not shown
in Table 3
may be agreed upon between the parties involved
with deliveries.
5 Oiling
Kinds and symbols of oiling of sheets and
coils are as shown in Table 4.

Remarks: Kinds of oiling not shown in Table
4 may be agreed upon between the parties involved
with deliveries.
Mechanical properties
1 Bending property
Bending property of sheets and coils are as shown
in Table 5. The outside surface (the portion more
than 7mm inward from both edges in the transverse
direction of the test piece) shall be free from
peeling of the galvanized coating and cracking
(observable with the naked eye) and breaking in
the substrate.
Table 5 Bending property

Remarks: 1. When HR Substrate is used,
pending property above shall apply to indicated
thicknesses of over 1.6mm.
2. Figures in Table 5 represent the number of
sheets of the indicated thickness in between the
inside distance of the fold.
2 Yield point, tensile strength, elongation
and non-aging property
Yield point, tensile strength, elongation and
non-aging property (only when CR Substrate is
used) of sheets and coils are as shown in Tables
6 and 7.
Table 6 Yield point, tensile strength and elongation
(when HR Substrate is used)

Reference: NSDHC ordinarily has a yield
point of over 205N/mm2 and tensile strength of
over 270N/mm2.
Table 7 Yield point, tensile strength and elongation
(when CR Substrate is used)

Remarks: 1. NSDCD3 sheets and coils, when
non-aging property is specified, shall be guaranteed
for non-aging property for a period of 6 months
after shipment from the manufacturing plant. Non-aging
property means non-susceptibility to stretcher
strain during working.
Reference: 1. NSDCC ordinarily has a yield
point of over 205N/mm2 and tensile strength of
over
270N/mm2.
2. NSDCH is a material which is not annealed and
ordinarily has a Rockwell hardness of over 85HRB
or a Vickers hardness of over 170HV (under a discretionary
load).
